Lapua Seed Phrase Keeper Plate for SafePal (LSPKS)

Lapua Seed phrase keeper is an AISI 304 stainless steel plate for storing a mnemonic phrase.

To keep the seed phrase of a crypto wallet from being compromised or stolen, it should be stored on offline media. Usually the seed is written on a scrap of paper, but paper is easily damaged and lost. A metal plate is resistant to time, water, fire and other unpleasant events.

There are many solutions for storing a mnemonic phrase in metal – you can scratch the words onto a card or assemble them from letters in a box or capsule. Our product is conceptually different. Lapua Seed contains a table, each row of which is intended for recording one word from the BIP39 dictionary.

The plates have individual designs for popular wallets and different options for recording the mnemonic phrase (for 12 words, for 12 words and a 6-digit PIN code, for 24 words, etc.)

What is stamped on the plate is not the word itself in text form, but its ordinal number in the dictionary, broken down into a sum of powers of 2. To reliably protect the seed phrase from mechanical, thermal or chemical impact, the plate is thick and the table engraving is deep. The black color and other optical effects are produced not by paint or a chemical method but by a laser (creating a surface with a directional microstructure that refracts light).

Marks in the table cells are made with a center punch (included) and a hammer. Such marking is deep, clear and reliable.
