Hardware wallet SafePal S1
The SafePal S1 hardware wallet supports transaction technology via camera and display (AirGapped). The device cannot be connected to PCs or other devices via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cable, ensuring completely offline storage of private keys. SafePal S1 combines a standard microcontroller for regular operations with a secure EAL 5+ chip for storing private keys and an integrated AIS31 random number generator. Additionally, the device includes a "self-destruction" mechanism for private keys in case of external tampering, such as opening the device's casing. It also features PIN code protection and supports Bitcoin improvement proposals BIP39 and BIP44.
SafePal S1 supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Eos (EOS), Binance Coin (BNB), Stellar (XLM), Tron (TRX), Neo (NEO) and tokens: ERC-20, TRC10, TRC20, BEP2, NEP5 tokens. The list of supported coins will be expanded in the future. The complete list of coins can be viewed on the official website of the manufacturer.
The device operates through the SafePal app, available for iOS and Android. Interaction between the hardware wallet and the app is done only via QR code. At first startup, you will need to verify the device's authenticity by scanning a QR code from the 1.3-inch screen with your smartphone. Transactions can also be performed using fingerprint scanning if the user enables this feature in the app settings.
